G.O.D. is Dead

It's time to get serious here at Dr. Yeti for once. We are here to mourn the passing of a great man, Duane Stroman, aka, G.O.D. (Good Ol' Duane). Dr. Stroman passed away this weekend and his loss will be felt by those of us here at Dr. Yeti. Stroman was very influential in our lives and imparted many things to us. If the fucktards at Juniata ever get around to putting up an article about Stro, I will post the link. Beardo has a front page article on Stroman from the Huntingdon Daily News and the obituary which I will share with you. In the meantime, hoist up a cold Yuengling for the man that defied age for so long and managed to endear himself to countless students at Juniata College.

"And so fell Lord Perth, and the countryside did shake with that thunder."

I emailed Juniata to find out when they were going to get their heads out of their asses and give Stro a proper write up.

Stro once told the Yeti, maybe even the scientist, that I had the worst attendence record of any student he's had in his long tenure at Juniata. I feel that's quite an accomplishment.

Just more evidence that he touched all of our lives in a special way.

I don't know if he ever told me about your slack-ass attendance, but he did tell me a lot of dirty jokes.

Back in the day, my Dad built a house for the good Dr. By the by, I have an email in to my sources at Juniata to find out when the next Juniata Magazine is coming out and if an obit will make the deadline. Will let you know when I do.
toodles.

I have the text from the Daily News piece that Becky Weikert '02 wrote. If you haven't seen it and want to, just let me know. I use my Juniata email. My source says that an article has been written for the fall/winter Juniata Mag. and discussion is on going about what to put on the web site. Lakso had nice things to say about Stro.
